BIG Improvement over other models, March 12, 2012 By This review is from: PARROT MINIKIT SLIM PORTABLE BLUETOOTH HANDS-FREE CAR KIT (Electronics) I was not particularly happy with my previous "Parrot Minikit Slim", as I had trouble with noise in my truck. This newer model, the Parrot Minikit+ is a vast improvement. The kit comes with a car recharger and is easily paired through your smart phone - very easily. After that, your entire phone directory is automatically synced with the Parrot! The three buttons, RED, GREEN and the JOG wheel make things 99% hands free. To make a call, just press the green button. A voice asks, "Who do you want to call?" You answer with the person's name; it is repeated and then dialed. That is fast and easy. An incoming call is indicated by a ringtone. The caller's name is announced (if in your phone book) and you reply with ANSWER or REJECT. To end a call, press the red button (if you don't reject the call). The JOG wheel during a call can adjust the volume or to select a caller.
The Parrot also goes into `sleep mode' if you just leave it in your car without turning it off... Read more
