Nice Product!, December 30, 2011 By This review is from: 2nd Generation Audio FM Transmitter plus integrated Car Charger for the Samsung Intercept with Gomadic TipExchange Technology (Electronics) I stream a lot of internet radio thru the Radio and Tune-In Radio apps on my Samsung Intercept Android phone. This product does a good job of both keeping my phone charged and producing a clear signal to my van's stock stereo. I have had numerous "cheapy" fm transmitters in the past and all of them died with daily commuter use in less than a years time. And ALL of them would produce a loud and annoying buzz sound should you happen to use the USB jack to try and charge your phone at the same time. NOT WITH THIS ONE FROM GOMADIC! This product eliminates that issue and is very flexible with a nice long cord to place your phone where ever you please in the front. I mount my phone on my vans dash with a handy air vent clip and now can run just 1 cable to the compact transmitter using my cigarette lighter without any clutter of cords trying to both charge my phone and use a transmitter. I can charge my Samsung intercept and listen to it on my cars radio at the same time with no problems. I haven't had any major problems with it. I would recommend this product.

I received the item within 3 days of ordering it. Unfortunately, the unit produced a high-pitched squeal when I used this with the USB charger, and I never could get a static-free channel. I returned this and ended up going with the i2i brand model. The RMA process was painless and Gomadic promptly returned my money. I like the company, and maybe I just got a defective one.
