TView T244ir Review, April 5, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Brand New Tview T244ir-tn 24" Tan TFT Wide Screen Car Flip-down Monitor with Built in Ir Transmitter (Electronics) Bought this unit after trying a 19" Pyle ceiling unit with built in DVD, USB, to mount to the ceiling in my camper in the master bedroom. The Pyle was a disappointment right out of the box. I could tell instantly it was cheap although the price I paid (about $340) and the pictures online did not clearly convey. Installation was herendous. I returned it and bought this unit instead, knowing that it did not have the built in DVD player and media slots. The slim design is awesome and the mounting is soooo much better than the Pyle. The bracket is sturdier and the placement of the holes is much more logical to support the weight. It took me about an hour to mount once I had everything in place for the bracket. But once it was up, it was flush to the ceiling and looks great unlike the Pyle which caused a gap around the edges due to the weight and poor design of the mounting system for that unit.
